I love Chipotle, so of course the food was deliciously awesome and amazing! The service was excellent, and I have no complaint :)

Came here super hungry and excited to eat with my boyfriend . We were shot down as it was a "family & friends only" day . I work in the food industry and we have those type of events as well when we open a new restaurant . Except we don't turn customers down... new people training defiantly could use the extra practice ! Also the way we were told and the attitude they told us in made it very disappointing . They could have gone the extra mile but they didn't . Won't be returning !

Worst chipotle ever! I rather go to Lakewood! The steak bowl was tasteless! Food was cold!

I was excited when this location opened bit sadly i was disappointed when i went for the first time... Employees are not so courteous and honestly the food wasnt that great either i think i will avoid this place and i will go to the one @the traffic circle

This place is so slow no matter what time of day. Almost 8pm on a Saturday and I'm in line writing this review because it's soooo slow.

  • Martha Q.

Yeah the food is great but that just goes for every Chipotle I've been to. Same affordable prices, same old chicken bowl. The only reason why I rate this particular Chipotle location a 2/5 stars is because of how ridiculously slow the service was when there was literally only 5 people in line. There were 3 people behind the counter working on the orders but it was still so slow. The staff weren't all that personable so that just adds on to the irritation of waiting forever. I think the longest I waited in line was about 15 minutes which is ridiculous especially when it wasn't even that busy. Not to mention that this location is pretty small so the more people came in, the more it felt like the room was getting smaller. The location (since it's closer to where I live) plus it's cleanliness is all there is to it besides the food.

I live Chipotle, but I hate this place! 8th online order in a row that is not ready when it should be, doesn't even bother to start our order when I'm standing there waiting. What's the point of online ordering for the office of I have to wait as long as the guy in the back of the line when I arrive? The manager is a toothless jerk reprimanding her poor employees in front of customers. We work next door but it's worth the drive to Lakewood or traffic circle for friendly faces and good service. They always have our order ready and are so happy and helpful.

So I caved in and finally decided to give this chipotle a few more chances. It's a hit or miss. I came here four additional times. And my only complaint is that sometimes 3 out of those 4, the steak is not fully cook. I mean half the meat is still red. Not pink. RED. I'll stick to chicken at this place.

SLOW!!! Why is it they always put the slowest employee at the point of highest customer volume??? I left, after 10 minutes they had served 6 people!

  • Rose B.

Went here to try and grab a bite to eat at the new location up the street from home. On my way to class. It is family and friends day today. We were told sorry and to come back tomorrow. Nope. Not ever coming back!

They have way too many employees just standing around and they are also moving way to slow I been to so many different chipotles that have up to 5 people on the line they only have two

  • April B.

This place has improved a lot since it first opened, I love it because it's close to home and the lines aren't very long, the service has gone a lot faster...Friendly staff and consistently delicious, clean bathrooms and eating areas. Those People giving low stars need to come back and reevaluate. In a sense I need to thank them however, because of the low stars, there are hardly any long lines, and the staff has improved...

Been to this location twice. First time was to pick up some lunch for work . I arrived at 11:50am didn't get food til 12:15pm I understand it's lunch time but there were only 6 people in front of me . The second time was around 5pm was picking up some dinner and it took about 30 plus minutes .... The staff are too slow and unsure of their stations. I over heard people behind me making comments that this was the slowest chipotle ever ! Which I agree. Food is great service a zero

This is my third time coming here and the third time I have to wait in line for chicken; so unacceptable and to top it of the girl rolling my burrito ripped the tortilla and had to wait even longer to get another one. I love chipotle and food is good just bad customer service

  • Nikki R.

How does Chipotle run out of rice? Tell me how does that happen? Not only did they expect me to me wait in line for about 15-20 minutes to just order but then they wanted me to wait another 30 minutes for rice. What gets me after all of that... they just tell me sorry! Sorry? Sorry for not doing your job. Sorry for telling the line. Sorry... seriously get it together and maybe i will come back... maybe when you get staff that know what they are doing.

  • Michelle D.

Do not come here. The service is horrible. They should train their employees better. They move slowly and have no sense of urgency. It took me another 20 mins after I payed to just get salad dressing. I'd rather drive another couple of miles to go to the one in Lakewood or at the Traffic Circle.

  • Brenda M.

I live down the street so I was excited not to have to drive down to the traffic circle. First time to this location tonight and it was horrible. I walked in and there was 19 people in front of me In line I counted! But I still stayed thinking usually it's doesn't take that long. Wrong by the time I got to order I had waited 25 minutes. Get to the front there is no rice it was a 10 minute wait. No thanks I just waited 25 minutes to order. Order my food and the amount of food in my bowl was ridiculous like half a spoon. At this point I'm just mad at myself for waiting. So I suck it up. As the girl is asking me what kind of salsa I want on my bowl she puts some and as I'm still talking she just walks away! The man at the cashier looks confused why she just walked away. So I finally get to the register to pay and there's no apology for the long wait or the girl that just took off. The staff has no customer service at All. They need to be retrained. The only guy I saw working his tail off was the young kid named Alex I believe. I hope this location gets better with time. The food was warm not hot. The chips that are usually salty with a hint of lime had none of that. Seriously I could of drove to the traffic circle and back home in the same amount of time and had way better food! I hope it's just working out the kinks.

I really like Chipotle and I've seen this location several times on my way to the Target in Signal Hill. I finally decided to stop by to try it out, because for me it's just as close as the one next to the traffic circle. I saw the negative reviews on Yelp, but I wanted to see for myself if they were true. Well for one thing I know the lines get long in Chipotle and it makes sense because it's so good. I usually eat early for dinner, around 5pm, and when I got to this location there was a short line already. However, like many others have said, they are very slow. I had about 2-3 people in front of me, but I still waited about 15-20 minutes just to get up to the front to tell them my order. They must have been working on a large order outside of the line because we didn't move at all. When I go to the location on Ximeno there will usually be a line, but I get through it so fast that it doesn't even matter to me. I got the feeling that many of the workers were new or didn't know how to move an order along fast enough. Maybe they need to bring in a few employees from the Ximeno location to help smooth things out. Also the inside seating is very minimal. The outdoor seating area is so large that they could have extended the size of the building just a bit and there still would have been tons of space to eat outside. I would have given another star if I had not felt like I was going to be sick after finishing my meal. I'm thinking the meat wasn't thoroughly cooked. I will stick to the Ximeno location from now on, or at least until I hear that improvements are made here.

First time here and omg it's it is taking so long for me to order. I don't know if it's the customers or the people that work here. They have 2 people serving and 2 people at the end of the line just standing there doing anything. Never coming to this place again.

  • Daisy M.

I know its a new store and all but I'm pretty sure they had plenty of training before they opened that store!!!! Worst customer service ever!!! The cashier didn't even bother handing me my change he just tossed it on the counter!!! Crazy long lines and staff go slower then a turtle!!! I would much rather drive further out for better service!!!

  • Krn K.

I love the location. Friendly customer service. Small and quaint. Only complaint is the music selection isn't the best.

    (3)
  • Jessica T.

I think some employees should help out serving so the line can move quick & clean up instead of standing in the corner & chit chatting. Salty salty chips. No ice. You restock the on the napkins but don't even wipe down the counter? Whats a matter with chu ?!

    (2)
  • Mike L.

My first time. Nice new place. Fridley people. I was disappointed with the portions though. A huge burrito, great if you like beans and rice (maybe a table spoon of meat) maybe the worse burrito I've ever had. may its because of the untrained people. BaJa Senora has much better food and the chips are free. probably won't go back.

    (1)
  • Paul L.

Utter chaos!!!! There is no manager to lead these workers...waited 30 minutes in line... Then no beans or any other things I wanted...cash register is broken so we have to wait another 10 minutes to pay and on top of that no forks only spoons...never coming back here again

  • Jennifer H.

It really takes a lot to make me displeased with a place. This Chipotle is the slowest chipotle I have ever been to. The lines are always long. I think the employees can be a little rude. If I want a damn quesorito I should be able to order one without any sass from the workers. The employees need to learn better customer service. It would be a lot better if they retrained their workers or just get friendly workers.

nice spot to eat at, enjoyed the day, was nice to be here, almost felt i was somewhere else, food served fast and quick.

  • Mark M.

The service at this location is so slow. I have been here several times since it opened and each time it takes over 20 minutes of standing in line to get to the counter. Several of the servers are unclear about what the food is (carnitas are pork, not beef). It seems to take the staff 10 minutes to make one burrito or bowl. Please introduce more training and additional staff.

  • Franklyn L.

I gotta say when this chipotle first opened I was excited cause I wouldn't have to drive to the traffic circle which is a bit far. So the wait was about 30 mins long and about 5-6 people infront of me idk what took so long. So when I was up next I ordered the burrito bowl. When I told the employee what I wanted, she only put a very small scoop of each item I asked for and very little on meat as well I was very disappointed on the speed and customer service . Saying I'm going to have to charge 1.95 for every item I asked for extra . This chipotle has to step their game up and hire new employees.

  • Mace D.

Short and sweet. I know this is a new restaurant so I will give 2 stars. I am a regular so I know what to expect. The food we ordered was good but the only problem was that it was warm and not hot. That is the minimum i require for decent food. I will give them another chance since they are new and the employees were not in sync with each other. 12/29/14 update. Came by again to see if any progress was made.....sadly it got worse....the chicken in my bowl was war and the corn had ice crystals. iI thinlk it is best to avoid this eattery.

Food is really good but the line is way to long..really not worth the wait, especially when you're on your lunch hour. It 25 minutes from beginning to end, smh. Back to work

Food is great but the Staff here is SLOW..... REALLY SLOW.... Rookies for sure... Should of brought some vets in to mix with the rookies.

  • Carina M.

This location has only been open for a couple of months and in that time I've tried to give the workers the benefit of the doubt that their lack of knowledge about their ingredients and slow service were part of the learning curve. However, I have been consistently disappointed with their service and their attitude. While the location is very convenient, their service has completely deterred me from coming back unless I hear they are under new management, one that will properly train the employers and provide enough of them to cover rush times.

Let me start off by saying that I frequent Chipotle maybe 5-6 times a month. This is my first time at this location. I placed an order for 6 people at approx 12:30 PM. Showed up there at approx 1:30 pm and they had started the order. They Proceeded to make my order in between customers. SERIOUSLY ? isn't that the point of ordering ahead ? I asked to speak to a Manager and guess what ? No manager. What a surprise. An hour after I ordered the food I finally get it. The food was cold because they were making them when ever they could. WORST PLACE EVER !!! On top of all that they didn't even make the orders correctly. I had a steak replaced with chicken and worst of all no apology. Please take the extra 5 minutes to drive to another chipotle. I can guarantee my company will never be ordering from here again.

I wanna first say to the reviewer named Becca .... People are are allowed to take breaks at work. I used to work at a very busy coffee shop and when your break time came you spent every second of it NOT working. That is why it's a "break" from work. So the picture you posted really has nothing to do with anything you complained about. Also the employee you saw on her phone might have been on break too, or using her phone for work related communication. Don't jump to conclusions when you don't know their side of the story too. ANYWAYS. I love this Chipotle. Yes this is a new location and yes most employees are new. Anyone who uses their brain will know that and keep that in mind while visiting. Every Chipotle around here is busy, so long lines are to be expected. I visited this location for the second time last night and things were getting a little hectic but every staff member apologized for the wait and had a good attitude. The problem with this Chipotle is the customers, not the staff. I'd like to see these people who complain spend an hour in the Chipotle employees shoes.

  • J R.

I've been to this Chipotle before and had great experiences. I went last night and got the steak bowl to go. I was so bummed out when I got home....the bowl was like half full. There was barely more than half of what I normally get. I'm not sure if there was some strategy to load bowls early on and then down the line become more profitable by skimping on the portions. Not sure, don't care...I was pissed. Thoroughly disappointed. At least at Super Mex I know I'll get the same thing every time.

  • M K.

Super rude employees!! When I asked for 3 orders of chips and salsa they let me know that they were out and that there weren't enough employees to help with the rush. This was 8:00pm on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is always dirty. Pretty sad. They should have experienced employees to train the new staff. I will not be going back to this location.

  • Valerie B.

I love the food at chipotle but I am not happy with the app. I order my food online but the app says that the spring street location doesn't do online orders. They do but you have to go to the website in order to do it

  • Kristin P.

A Chipotle close to home. Yay!! I was kinda disappointed by the recent reviews, but decided to try it out anyway because I didn't feel like driving all the way to the traffic circle. I'm glad I gave them a chance. I've come here several times in the last couple of weeks and never had to wait in line more than 15 minutes, even when the line was all the way to the door. The food has always been incredibly good, and the staff is friendly every time I'm here. I'll definitely be coming back to this location again, and again, and again.

Good food. Was excited that they opened this place near my nieghborhood. Thought that it would be less packed than the one in Lakewood. So i decided to stop by today. But it was just as packed. If you plan to go when it's cold weather outside you better be prepared to take your food to go. Unless u want to sit outside in the cold. There are no heat lamps outside. Hardly any seating area in the restaurant. I didn't like that the stool seats that run parallel to the food line are so close to the customers that are lined up to order. Next time I think I'll just order my food and pick it up at the restaurant. And if I want to eat inside at Chipotle I'll just have to drive to lakewood location. Unless it's summer time....

This is the worst ever. Customer Service is horrible. Some of the workers are rude and nasty! That is not the way to conduct yourself especially on somebody's job. They do not work together as a unit. Its very sad. Please get people that are hardworking and have good work ethic and know how to treat customers, coworkers and all people.

  • Cloie P.

Of all the Chipotle Ive been too, this by far is the worse. I didn't go opening week I'd figure it was busy, so I decided to go today. There were 4 people waiting for steak ahead of me, me being the fifth. Three people walking around and drinking soda cups as if on break but wasn't. Finally after 15mins Of waiting they finally got Steak. When it came to moving fast, they had that part down but neatness and orderly was horrible. They girl busted my whole burrito than asked if I wanted another tortilla but I just refused the offer. The cashier than rung me up with no greeting. She was too busy singing the song and taking the money out my hand. Horrible customer service. Need to rehire the whole staff

    (1)
  • Eve G.

I don't think I'll be going back to this location. They're way too skimpy on the meat, rice and beans. The person serving us looked uncomfortable scooping up the meat like she was afraid to grab too much. Really? You have to load up the burritos if you're going to charge so much. I'll be going back to the one at the traffic circle instead.

Today was the second time I visited this location. It is evident the person or persons who own this establishment was not ready to open. My first visit a couple of weeks ago they ran out of Guacamole while several employees were socializing rather than make sure the supplies were stocked. If these employees were on break then they should be talking their breaks Else where rather than behind the counter. My visit today they were out of black beans and salsa. The rice was under cooked and I was told they don't and never have had balsamic dressing which is not true I was able to obtain the dressing on my first visit a couple of weeks ago. While the employees were very friendly the service was bad! I attribute this to the owners who did not train their employees properly and who fail to have the necessary supplies for their customers! Because this is a new establishment I will give it another try since I find the burrito bowls delicious and it is close toy home here in Long beach. If I experience the same type of low grade service I will never patronize this location again! I will resume my purchases at the San Pedro location on Western that is always well stocked, friendly employees and always get the orders right! I believe in supporting local businesses but if this location can't get it together than I will spend my money else where and will tell my co workers and friend the same', as I am a member of a very huge Union and news travel fast! We work hard long hours and eat very well! Please owners get it together!

I was so looking forward to this Chipotle opening up! But after coming in a half a dozen times now, it hasn't changed much in the Customer Service Dept. Went in for our online order, got there and it wasn't ready AGAIN on time. (Lakewood store always are super friendly and had our stuff done on time, and if they didn't, which was rare, they would be very apologetic, give us free chips and guac. or give us a discount) There is a girl that works the pickup orders, did not catch her name, but she always seems to have attitude with everyone. Not super friendly group. One woman, that appeared to be a manager (only guessing cause she had a different Chipotle shirt on that was collared, didn't catch her name, but she was missing a front tooth) was rude, didn't seem to work well under pressure of being busy. I saw and heard her scold the female cashier right in front of everyone, was not professional, didn't seem friendly to the employees working the line either... The Chipotle Company needs to come in and either retrain their staff, fire at least 1/2, or bring in others from other stores until the new people get caught up to speed. Only 1 employee was super nice the other day, I did not catch his name either but he had super long curly eye lashes. He was very sweet and friendly to everyone at the cash register as I waited for our order. He gets 5 stars , everyone else I rate 1-3 star.

  • T A.

Well, I gave them a chance to redeem themselves, and redeem themselves they did! The meat was fully cooked and the people were smiling and friendly again. Yay! I'm so glad I can continue to eat here. Yes, it is still crowded and always will be. Use the online ordering system, for Pete's sake!

  • Asia J.

Yikes Poorly managed, inexperienced workers. There's always a long line, which I usually don't mind if it goes by fast, which never happens at this location. They are constantly running out of certain types of meat and I see them trying to cook it last minute and have the ALL the customers in line wait (Hello?? Where's the manager to make sure this doesn't happen???). Chips are usually stale and when they're not, they're not available. Horrible location. I'd rather trek over to the traffic circle. Maybe I'll come back and check in a few months. Maybe not.

I love Chipotle... I love the concept of assembly line Mexican food. For me, burrito bowl is the way to go, and I always get half and half of sofritas and chicken (or steak, if I am feeling beefy that day). I always ask for sour cream on the side, because Chipotle seems to love giving blobs of sour cream (I blame the spoon they use.) Too much sour cream is too much. I give this location a 3 star because of the store itself. Its very nice and clean! But damn the store itself is way too small. The line wraps around the perimeter of the store, which at times BLOCKS the entrance. There's a few tables inside, but there's even more seating outside. I'm guessing they made the store smaller to accommodate a larger patio (which has a great view of DT Long Beach)?

  • Randoll C.

When I hear someone mention Chipotle, Barbacoa always comes to mind. So, I knew that's what I'd be ordering as I stood in line waiting to place my order. It was a little busy as it was lunch hour and I guess a lot of people made their way to Chipotle, now that there's finally a location in the area of Atlantic and Spring, in Long Beach. I just happened to swing by with a coworker because we needed something fast because we had an afternoon meeting right after lunch. Line moved along pretty steadily. Serving portion was okay - seen more and seen less at other locations. My portion size was more than the person behind me so I'm not complaining. Staff was somewhat friendly - efficient as they kept the line moving. The staff clearing tables was pretty efficient - as I mentioned earlier - it was a little busy because of the lunch rush. My burrito was what I expected. My coworker felt the same about her chips & guac as well as her bowl. Chipotle won't be a regular lunch spot for me but now that there's one close to work, it's there should I decide I need to get my yearly fix.

  • Jen T.

The absolute slowest and most unfriendly chipotle in all of Long Beach! Seriously, is it that hard to greet customers with a smile when they enter the store? Or better yet even acknowledge they came in?? 23 people in line- 1 person on the line making food and 6 more employees talking in the back. Wow. Just wow. We left you don't deserve our money!

    (1)
  • John Y.

The food is consistent and great quality for fast casual food. However, yesterday my coworkers and I used the app to order. Noticed the portions were smaller than ordering in person plus had to wait longer at this location. To me it seems to be slower than other locations in the area.

  • Bryanna P.

I don't know why everyone is being a bunch of jerks about this place, but it is pretty much like every freakin Chipotle around. Yes, at lunch time a lot of people all show up at once and get in a line to order their food, and yes you have to wait patiently. They are new so maybe the crew hasn't gotten into a rhythm yet, but I don't think it is any worse than any other one that I have been to. The place is clean, they have a nice outdoor patio area, and the staff is friendly and courteous. Though pricey I enjoy being able to eat somewhere that promotes organic products, and lets you know which ingredients are GMO or not. Also, they plan on phasing out all GMO products which is a tough task. This location is close to my work, and the couple of times I have been here I haven't had a problem. I will continue to come to this location despite all the crappy reviews of apparently very impatient people.

My siblings and I were hungry so we decided to go eat. We couldn't decide whether to get In N' Out or Chipotle since it was in the same plaza. In the end, we ended up getting Chipotle. Which turns out to be a huge mistake. We came around 9pm and there was only two people in front of us. The two stars are for the fast service. Everything else was pretty bad. The staff didn't look as friendly. The guy that serve us just gave us a cold stare like he didn't want to be there. I guess I understand because I work at a restaurant also. It can be stressful & annoying but he didn't even bother to just try or at least say something, like a hi maybe? Plus the food was plain, didn't have much flavors to it. I was disappointed because I expected better after it has been opened for about 2+ months! C'mon now. I think I'll just drive further to the traffic circle or to the lakewood one instead next time. Sorry guys! I won't be trying it in a while so that it could be improved. Considering I don't eat Chipotle a lot. Well I hope people have better experience than I did today. Don't want to sound mean but woops. Won't be coming here anytime soon. It's a nice location too. So whenever you're indecisive... go for In N' Out! You can never go wrong with that.

  • Shelley F.

Today was actually my second attempt to eat here. The first time, the line wrapped around the entire inside of the place and NO Chipotle is worth that. Today I beat the lunch crowd. Good thing that I did because I don't know how there can be 6 people behind the counter with 18 people in line but I'm the only one who had food. That's pretty bad service! Also the bathroom was pretty nasty considering they had only been open for an hour when I got there. Yuck! There were at least 4 other employees besides the ones at the counter, so someone really should have been tending the place. Food itself was standard, so no complaints there.

This review is coming to you live from the line at Chipotle. No matter what time you go, I'm sure it'll be packed. If you plan to come during lunch/dinner time, make sure you bring the Harry Potter collection books because by the time you're ready to order, you're already on the Order of the Phoenix. The staff consists of very young workers that don't look like they really care. I know when they run out of chicken or steak, hell breaks loose and no one wants to settle for lame azz barbacoa. So the line gets paused, next thing you know the line goes all the way out to the Dollar Tree and the cycle repeats. By the time I got to the register, I stood there for a good amount of time to run a marathon without anyone acknowledging the fact that my food was ready and I was ready to pay for my burrito with chips and a side of disappointment. An employee finally rung me up. No sorry. No smile. No "have a nice day". This establishment is fairly new and it's great that I don't have to travel across the universe to Lakewood or the Traffic Circle for some Chipotles. However the staff all seems like rookies and no one is being a Kobe Bryant and leading the team. Shout outs to Chipotle.

  • Dan G.

Chipotle's great if you like rice burritos. Man, the staff here are so inconsistent. Chipotle burritos are full of filler and a ripoff to begin with, but when they short you on meat most of the time, why bother? Girl at the first station today was so lazy, just slopping food everywhere. Slow lines, average food, carnitas shortage, chipotle as a whole is going down hill, not just this one.

I'm really disappointed in this location. My boyfriend and I ordered online at 8:44pm and he went to pick it up by 9:15. That gives them 30 mins to make our order. We both got barbacoa salads, he wanted half chicken. He ordered guac on his bowl and we also got a side of chips. He came back with the food, we open it up, excited to eat some well-craved Chipotle, and they forgot his guacamole. And he only had about two very small pieces of chicken mixed in with his barbacoa. When I asked him how busy they were he said that there was 2 employees on the front line and they had NO customers in line. He got there maybe 5 mins earlier than pick up time and he said the employee had asked his name for the order and said she was finishing up the last salad. What makes me more upset is that I used to work at Chipotle, and the one I worked at was constantly busy nonstop with lines always wrapping around. For them to mess up an order that they had 30 minutes to make with NO customers in line and barley busy, is just disappointing. They need to learn how to read the online printouts, it's not that hard. He paid $2 for a small dollop of guacamole and they forgot it. Never ordering from there again. I'll stick to the one at the traffic circle. This location needs better management to hire some employees that actually care and know what they're doing. *I gave 2 stars only because the chips were good and weren't stale and the barbacoa had good flavor.

This is my 2nd positive visit here! Today was ESPECIALLY positive because I got excellent customer service from the gal working at the cash register today. Her name is Danny and I'll be writing corporate to commend her customer service also.

Let me just start off by saying, my meal was great but the customer service on the other hand was the worst! I ordered 2 burritos online and gave this location 30 minutes to complete my order. When I got there, my meal was not ready and it was passed the time it was supposed to be ready. The cashier said that my meal would be started right away, which I was fine with. I saw my meal being completed in front of me and also saw the team work and hustle the workers on the line were doing to insure my meal was done asap. I went to the bathroom and when I came out, stood behind a lady who was standing by the opening, near the cash register, texting on her phone. I realized this lady worked there when she looked behind her and saw me, then frantically stashed her phone away, as if she was not supposed to be on in. At this time, my food was just about finished and the team on the line were trying to get caught up again because the line was so long. The lady on her phone who I soon found out her name was Jasmine, meandered around, doing nothing as the other team members struggled. She did nothing to help out her team and certainly, by her attitude and body language she didn't want to be there. I don't know if jasmine needs training, just to find a new job, or maybe a good firing but she needs to get her head out of her ass. She is the anchor to her team and she is going to be the one who sinks the ship. I am pretty sure their are 10 other people who would like to fill her position who don't have a job. Thanks for the great food to the hard working people on the line and a big middle finger to JASMINE.

Out of all the chipotles I have been to this is by far the worst. I placed two orders online to be picked up at the same time and only one was ready at the time. So first off one order was cold by the time I got my other. My order was placed online because I had somewhere to be so I expected it to be ready. Secondly I get to my destination and open my bowl to see it had meat instead of sofritas. I don't eat meat so it's not like I could have looked past something like this. Worst chipotle ever. Next time I will just drive to a farther one. Waste of gas to drive back to get chips and guac for free. Would have rather just got my money back. This is also not the first time something like this happens at this certain location which is why I decided to leave a review in the first place. I was not impressed at all

The reason I gave them one star is I can't give them zero this is the second time I come and the last. I love chipotle but the employes are all rude it was not even busy , then end of the day to be acting the way they did. They snap at u and give u dirty looks is it my fault u ran out of steak I'm waiting for it then they ran out of corn I tried liking it but the workers top it off it's very small dine in but have big outside place just windy food gets cold real quick employer not growing his or her job hirer people that first want to work secant people that have manners third mix it up a lil all sisters acting ghetto.

Try some guacamole on the side it's authentic and taste great! Also try a Barbacoa quesadilla you'll love it, glad to see that Chipotle's has made a big effort to serve consumers non-GMO foods. In a day where it where ever you go everything is GMO it feels refreshing that there's at least a fast food restaurant where you could get something that you know 10,15, 20 years from now is not going to give you cancer. As for this Chipotle they have gotten better, faster, and the food taste just like other Chipotles that have been open for quite some time. So if you have a chance and you like it here give them 4 to 5 stars to bring their stars up to par where they are at the present moment.

I thought I would never have to write a review for chipotle since I love them so much. However, sadly to say is that this location is by far the first and worst ever. The waiting in line was about 20 mintues, there's no actual flow from the work staff on the line. They run out of everything despite the fact of having back up for changing the items on the line for fresh ingredient like their suppose to. Brown rice was not fully cooked and the steak was cold which was just chewy. They do not give generous portions. I mean I may look small, but I want the same scoop as any other customer. The fountain drinks were flat, so I just ended up getting water. Overall, poor lack of management and definitely bland watery salsas.

This location sucks DO NOT go here. Quality is horrible and workers seem distracted with each other and do not know what they are doing. I got a steak burrito and the taste of the steak was WAY off... Tasted expired and texture was chewy and rubbery, I would have returned it if I hadn't gotten it to go. On top of that was way over seasoned. Same with the chips... Loads of sea salt and some weren't even cooked all the way they were still raw. The cashier tried to sneak in a huge side of quac with my chips too (an extra 3.50). Good thing I caught her before she slid my card. I noticed as I was standing in line that no1 in the back kitchen looked like they knew what they were doing... Guess it turns out they don't! Their food is definitely not up to code something has got to happen here. My Coca-Cola was good. Can't believe I paid 14 bucks for this crap Chipotle is always on point but not this time.

I was really happy to see that there is a new chipotle here next to my mom's neighborhood. Chipotle's food is really good, but the service is so slow. Back in Salt Lake City, if the line is long I wouldn't worrybsince they work really fast. This location is really slow. Im standing in line now for 20 mins and the line keepa getting longer and longer. Go to the traffic circle location instead!

I'm a regular at a different store , but I came to this one because my wife was was having surgery at a local hospital. The barbacoa burrito tasted great as always. The customer service was terrible. The girl making my burrito had more eye contact and conversation with her co-worker than me. I got all the simular toppings I usually get. When the last employee was wrapping my burrito, he said it was the smallest burrito he has ever wrapped. The small portion of meat didn't register until I got back to the hospital. The person making my burrito may have noticed the small amount of meat, but she was distracted. I don't know what to say, but I hope management fixes the problem. However, I have been in management for several years. The employees will do what management permits. Based on previous reviews, customer service and portion control is a on going problem. Maybe the district manager could step in and work on these issues. Good luck.

I love Chipotle, but this one stinks. Mostly the staff, this is my third and final time here. They're always out of something, "steak is not ready", "veggies are out", etc. But they always have the shortest lines. Today my steak burrito sat around while the girl refilled lettuce, had a conversation with coworkers and stared into space thinking about who knows what. So I had my burrito cold, with a half a cup of iced tea, yes, the iced tea was out. Get it together people!

I work down the street so the location is really convenient but I'd rather go to the traffic circle bc this one just isn't cutting it. I understand that the staff is new so that probably makes them slower and a bit less knowledgeable than at other locations, which will improve as the employees learn the ropes. Ok, I get it. I was new at my job once too. But let's be real, the job description is essentially smile, greet, scoop, pass...so the learning curve should not be too steep. What being new doesn't excuse however is poor work ethic and crappy customer service. Sooo many employees just lingering around. You can't possibly have 7 ppl on break, and if you do, no wonder it's so slow. Someone needs to do something about the customer service as well. I don't expect much when I'm literally just telling you what scoop I want next in my burrito bowl, but what I don't need is an eye roll and heavy sigh to go along with it. There are a couple young ladies working here who are routinely giving customers attitude with a capital A every time I go in (sorry, I didn't catch their names). The last time I went however the two young gals in training were very bright and cheery, so maybe there's hope!

I am a fan of Chipotle, and very excited that they are finally going to open one in Signal Hill. Tonight I went to this new location for the first time. The wait was long, 45 mins easy. When it was my turn, rice, sour cream and guacamole run low, no fajita veggie. A girl at the front told the kitchen they need fajita veggie, 5 mins later, I was watching the kitchen and didn't see anybody in the kitchen prepare fajita veggie for the front. There were only two guys in the kitchen, one is making tons of chicken and beef, not sure what the other one is doing back there. Two guys in front of me ordered burritos. The guy wrapping burritos kept breaking the flour tortilla, so the guy's burritos end up had three flour tortilla on his burritos. The girl runs the register was dancing to the music, a couple of customers and myself had to stand there for a good amount of time to pay for our food which is ready. This new opened Chipotle runs by very young workers, who aren't trained properly and don't care about customer service. The line probably wouldn't be this long if they weren't there played around. Also I really suggest them to wear some mask to cover their mouth as the whole time they were talking over food that's just wait there for the next worker. by the time I left, I still didn't see anybody from kitchen brings up fajita veggie. This was an overall disappointed experience as I have been waiting for this location to open up since months ago.

I've been to several chipotles.. I was very disappointed with the quality of chicken. The cut had a ton of fat. In addition the steak was cold and tough. This is the first time I've ever encountered this at a chipotle. Customer service was ok.. The young man making my burrito was more interested in having a conversation with his friend than paying attention to what my needs were. The girl at the register I exclude from this.. She was nice. The saving grace for this place is the patio. It's big enough for a big group to sit.. ( directly next to chipotle).

I've been to this location 3 times in probably the past month and I can't quite figure out why they are so slow compared to other Chipotle's. Granted the location is new, but I would have expected them to have improved a bit after a couple visits. The location has very limited indoor seating compared to other Chipotle's. There's lots of outdoor seating. The quality of the food is what you would expect from any other Chipotle. Just wished they could be a little quicker with their service. There's plenty of parking. However, with Starbucks nearly, don't expect to find something close especially during the busy hours.

Have to downgrade due to my latest experience and another disappointment from this location. Ordered via the app and was given a pick up time of 30 minutes away. I showed up on time and waited another 20 minutes for my food. When we got home 2 of the 4 orders were incorrect. It took them 50 minutes to get our order wrong. We have an issue every time we come here. Last time, it took someone 10 minutes to restock the utensils so me and three other parties stood around waiting. They aren't new anymore and all their kinks should be worked out. Management seems completely uninvolved in their operation. Sadly, this is the closest location and we are fans of Chipotle but may have to make the drive to the Lakewood location. The management here should take a look at the Lakewood location and see how it's run. They get it right where this one gets it all wrong.

I absolutely love chipotle except I have to drive all the way to traffic circle from downtown Long Beach to enjoy it. Well not anymore since a Chipotle is being constructed as we speak in the Home Depot shopping center. I'm stoked!!!!

I love chipotle! Was looking forward to having a chipotle really close to me turns out I will still drive to Lakewood or ximeno. Gave it three chances and all three times the chicken was burnt. Gets super busy, but I don't mind the wait as long as the chicken doesn't taste like charcoal.

The line was a little long, but it went pretty quick. Customer service was good to me. The food is fresh, u can see them in the back cooking it and cutting up the meat. I was happy with my experience

I love chipotle and I know this location is new with new people but daaaaaaaaaaammmmmnnnn service is slow! I mean like molasses slow. And they were out of forks. Got sick of waiting for them to refill them so I'm eating with a spoon. Not the worst thing in the world but c'mon. You've been here for at least 3 months. Figure it out!

So first things first yes, it is normally on the slower side. So don't come here if you're in a rush, BUT besides that im happy that there is one closer by. They are decent on the portions and if you ask for more they don't charge you more. They are on the newer side but I go quite frequently and they are improving. Food is still good and how close it is, I love it! 4 stars because they're trying and are getting better with time. Good food, good portions, nice staff & are getting better.

Worst chipotle ever. The meat was cold, the tortilla was stale, almost flavorless and the employee are messing around. Would not recommend them.

It's kind of hard to go wrong with Chipotle. Brand new location. The flavor didn't disappoint. Even with the huge grand opening line, they moved quickly and were calm and friendly. I was a little disappointed in the amount of guac they give you. Either they give too little or all the other locations give more than they should. They barely put a quarter of a scoop full on the bowls I ordered. I should have asked for it on the side to get my full money's worth.

Was glad that the place wasn't crowded. Now I know why. Disappointing! There were 6 of us and no one was happy. My son and daughter who are crazy about chipotle weren't even able to finish their food, not because of how big the portion was because it wasn't, but because it just didn't taste right. And the portion was just like the server didn't want to put anything in it, it was like hurting her to put anything in the burrito. This was the first time I got to finish my burrito. Usually I have to wrap it and bring it home. I should have stayed in my neighborhood. If you want good tasting and big serving, go to Lakewood chipotle, not here. Won't be back. Only the place is good.

This has honestly got to be one of the worst chipotle restaurants in the world. The only reason I say one of the worst is because statistically there has to be a Chipotle somewhere with equal bad service or worse. I have only gone here two times, I will not be coming back. Each time I went here it took me around 20 minutes to get my food. Trust me I am telling the truth I timed it. Slowwwwwwww service, it's like a team of unorganized turtles was making my food. My god how hard is it to make a burrito? On my last visit the young lady had to rap my burrito three times! Then on top of that they made the burrito wrong! When I pointed out her error she just looked at me smiled and just kept making the burrito the way she wanted. WTF you guys suck.

I purchased 2 sofritas entrees on 'Sofritas Monday' (Jan 26), but when I went to redeem my free regular priced entrees today I was told it was one free entree per receipt so I unexpectedly paid for one of the two entrees I ordered today. However, on the website it clearly states "Limit one free regular-priced menu item per Sofritas entrée listed on receipt". This error is especially frustrating because this particular location I have multiple issues with (cleanliness of place, service, service speed, running out of food items, and hygiene of staff). I would have never purchased 2 sofritas entrees for my significant other and myself to try if I had known that both entrees would not be honored. Tipping point for me is the hygiene. The bad hygiene I noticed on the visit today was a staff member lifting up his cap and running his hands through his hair then proceeded to put plastic gloves on (not washing his hands after touching his hair) and repeatedly blew into the inside of the glove to make it easier to put on. I have given this newer location multiple tries and was able to forgive the slow service, lack of cleanliness of restaurant, unenthusiastic service , and running out of food items such as fajitas and chalk it up to being newer but I have never had a bad experience and Chipotle and this one seems to encompass every single bad thing that you can have Overall experience is so unsatisfactory, it carries over to the food and has turned me off Chipotle

A Chipotle is a Chipotle. So, I have no idea why people are giving this one such low ratings. Sure, the staff is slowly working on getting their rhythm down. You have to give them credit, because they have only been open for a couple of months. Next, the line never seems to be short. Well, you have to give it to Chipotle for being popular. It is annoying, but it just highlights the good food that you're about to receive. The fact that they have so much outside seating also makes this spot decent. Sure, you have a view of Home Depot and a busy road, but at least you get to sit outside in the fresh (smog filled) air. All in all, I have yet to be disappointed at a Chipotle. Burritos the way you want them. Gotta love that.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
